TS2 mounting question
 

Hey guys,
I have a quick question regarding the mounting of my OS on the TS2. The manual says 5/8 and 1 5/8 up from the bottom of the transom. However the template provided for the OS is 5/8 and 1 1/2 up from the bottom of the transom. Do I use the template or do I do 1 5/8 for the top two inserts. ( Is the template wrong?)

The template may be wrong as some of the first boats that came out had the wrong template. Go to the Aquacraft website to download the corrected one.

It is also necessary to "flip/flop" the mounting bracket on the O.S. That's also in the Instruction Booklet.

Thanks for the replies. I will download the PDF instructions tomorrow and see if the template is 1 1/2 or 1 5/8. I dont think it matters too much, I just wanted to make sure before I drilled out the transom. It seems that you would get more vertical movement if it were drilled out for the 1 5/8.

I printed the template from the Aquacraft page but it isnt 5/8 and 1 5/8 either so I guess I will go by what the manual says and mark my own holes at those two distances respectively.

Make sure that you printed out at 100%. My printer doesn't unless I tell it to, especially .pdf files.
