Sorry about that guys.We were haveing proublems uploading the pic,but here they are.But still haveing proublems loading the good videos of the boat.It's on my kodiak easyshare software system.Does anyone of you guy know how to get it uploaded on there? The boat I'd moditfyed the cowl and wings/tailfins and relocated them and put a .21 in it too.Theres a couple of pics with me in it too.:D

I told you guy that I can do it/do moditfycations and put a.21 in my boat.:D But I want to thanks two guys who's have been a big help to me,Chuck Piper and expessially Ron Olson!!! Thankyou very much you two!!!

How does the boat perform? Has she got lots of power now?

Would love to see a video but I don't know how it works on RCU.

When I post the video up and you'll see that she alot of power!!Plus I dont have a .21 tune pipe yet but drilled out the stock.15 tune pipe for now.Ron said it should work for now,but I dont have the power band!!:(Soon as I get a.21 tune pipe she'll have the powerband and she'll realy fly..She's alittle squirrely,but she's hands fine!!!:D I'm going bigger motor soon!!:DI'd had alot of guys said that I couldnt do it because I was a newbe,but I have years of expieriance in working and painting and doing fabercation on car and boats,real full size one!!I'm just new on nitro motors and boats set ups.But I'm a very quick learner!!:D

Thankyou for that comment!! Me and my friend custom make biker chic out fit. I'm suprise that nobody didnt say anything about the custom cowl scoop that is longer.This is a one of a kind boat.The tail find I'd copie off of F/A 18 Hornet jet fighter.I have four of them that fly over my garage ones a week and boy they scare the crap out of me.They fly low.about 500 feet!!They do put on a good fly by!!:D I'm going to try to post moe pics tomarrow!!:D

I just got in here after getting your PM and yes, I did notice the scoop as we did talk about it. I got to see your rear wing mod too!
You can't upload videos in here, just link to a site that will take them. Have you tried YouTube, Yahoo!, PutFile or one of the others if RCUVideos didn't work? Even MySpace takes videos now.

Hay Guys I'd got one video up and I'm trying to load the second one up shortly.It took 1 hr to load a 30second video.The second one is the best one and it's 1min and 59 seconds long and it will proubly take 2hrs to load it up.I think youtube sucks!![:@] Plus it's showing my boat video slow too!!:(My boat is fast!!:D,but my friend loaded the wrong video,But it's better then nothing for now.Enjoy!!:D I'd took four videos of my boat runs!!There in order the best one first and the second best and so on!! hay if your having proublems with the video go down to Chucks reply he'd fixed it for me!! Thanksyou Chucks!! The first video is the best run and the second one was second best run. I think I got it fixed now! If not go to Chucks reply.[8D] Oh GUYS!! Hydro junkie was talking about blue angels colors would fit my boat.?I'm thinking about painting one that color but not this boat.I got a flex drive one comming and I'll do the body mods as the one I got now!!! come on misshydro u just installed .21 motor and ran it in a pretty tight pond, ur brave enough to run that highly mod bud in there,, did u hear it miss bud is screaming at u she wants to run in a big lake:D...

boat looks pretty stable running but have u tried to wide open in straight and turns? just curious coz of ur V Tail, since u removed the horizontal stabilizer the down force/ lift effect is gone.

yup! noticed of bigger scoop..boat really looks good.

So 1outlaw, what do you ask for next? Maybe another picture of misshydro holding the boat, but wearing a low cut top, miniskirt and knee high boots? You're not planning on a 1000 mile roadtrip are you?:D

Misshydro, I'm impressed with your rework, though I think French Blue and Yellow would fit the F-18 tails a little better than red;)

This is my test pond!!! If I'd ran this boat in my other friend big pond the way it died out on my with the .15 and now with the .21,I had to retrive this boat about 15 times.I've read and heard storys that guys gave up after 5-6 times and they want to sell there boat,because there tired in going out and retriving them!! I rather test run and tune/dialed it in a smaller pond and having it go dead in a bigger pond. I got it dialed in I hope and I'll run it in my friend big pond.Yes we got a huge lake! the grand lake StMarys.This lake we have the goveners cups reggatta race in.This race they have smaller hydroplanes run in,and now I've been hearing that fomula has been talking about running getting the big boy to race the turbine in our lake maybe next year!!!Our lake is big enough to race in!! My friend is uploading the second video now,[&:]I hope my best video,The boat is going around in circles/ovals fast!:D Oh Wave waker I did save the holes in the tail fins and I'm cutting the rear spoiler shorter to fit!! So if I want to run the rear spoiler or not.:D The best thing to do when you get a new boat or motor is to run it in a smaller pond first to get it dialed in and work the bugs out of it.Then when you get all the bugs worked out,then run your boat out in a lake or big pond so you dont run into any proublems in the big waters!!:D That opion stuped or not![>:]

Miss Hydro looking at upgrading my Miss Elam to a .21 OS. Can you list any mods you had to make during your conversion, did you upsize your flexi shaft?
I agree with your theory of initial testing in a small pond, as I did the same when breaking in my Miss Elam and found it to be less stressful with the numerous engine cut-outs and boat retrievals.

Very nice.I agree a large pond would let you open her up.I have been working on a lift for my F350.Its done and ready for tires.I'll get my hydro back out this weekend.Hopefully I can get some video.

Even tho u sent me a PM a LONG TIME AGO i never even noticed it i opened it today and saw it and desided to stop by and congradulate you!!!! i noticed the HUGE cowl the second i saw the boat and the mod in the bad is nice!!! i still have my boat laying in its box just chillin.......LOLOLOL ive yet to drop it in the water since im so much into my cars/trucks i feel my boat will never see water at the rate im goin......................i did pull the engine out about 6 weeks ago and fitted a cooling head on it and ridged it into a RS4 i had laying around and i broke in the engine COMPLETELY on that............the thing is TUNED and runs GREAT it had the car moveing pretty good the engine starts EVERYTIME ON THE FIRST PULL i ran exactly one gallon thru it after the half tank mark i had no more cut out problems i took the engine out and put the water cooling head back on and set it back into the boat she is READY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!! but i havent had a chance to drop it in the water........ i know ill still have to adjust the needles once i get to the lake but i wont have a CUT OUT problem......anyway do u have a sort of TUTORIAL on how u did it and what u used???i was thinking about puting a NINJA .21 ON ROAD ENGINE in it it turn 47,000 RPM easy so i know id FLY any info would be GREAT!!!!!

Hay carimali!! Check out Lastresort4x4.He'd put a O.S.21vz in his boat,plus his is a flex drive and he's shows the motor and new rear prop drive and rudder system!! My boat is the old strait drive system!! I do got a new flex drive hull comming!!:D If you need help let me know!!I'll be glad to help out!!:D

Looks good miss hydro ,but I want to see what you can do against the big boys. Get some video of you racing her. That is part of the resin I don,t put a .21 in mine because the rules down here say that to run in the RTR class you have to have a .18 like all the other RTR boats. ;)

Rumor has it that the December IMPBA roostertail will have some sample rules to start more serious discussions about more realistic RTR rules (wonder how I know this?;)). These sample rules do state that the engine size must remain the same as originally came with the boat. If one wanted to upgrade the Vegas to a .21, that would put it in the .21 Sport Hydro class.

Bill Zuber and John Equi have been working on the revisions to the rules for a while now. I gave Bill a little input on them so hopefully it will happen soon. It will be a replacement for the ABS class that was never used.
