I have a new thundercat 31 on order it should be here this tuesday i am wondering i have read the other thundercat thresd, but this one is geared towards people who just got the boat and what are nsome things we should do or look out for during breakin and with the hull itself |

LSN set somewhere 1.5-2.5 3. retighten all the screws n' bolts 4. paint can't stand nitro, wipe it asap 5. jb weld the pressure fitting 6. no matter how bad the day in the lake try to enjoy boating:D |

The strut is set too shallow so drop it down when using the stock prop. It wouldn't hurt to replace the rudder linkage with some 4-40 threaded rod.
The above will get you on the water but then later on, go to the TC 31 thread to see what else you can do to it. |

Yep read through all of it and write some of the things down. Break it in correctly and be patient are my tips. It can be frustrating, but stick with it and make sure it does get broken in correctly.

should i remove the internals and coat the inside with protection and if so what kind

ORIGINAL: rcboatguy1981 should i remove the internals and coat the inside with protection and if so what kind i would leave it as is,,just make sure every after run clean the hull by spraying multi use cleaner like Green and rinse with water and dry it and this will be fine. |
