Need header information...
 

Hi guys,

Just need some advice on what type of header is suitable for the .21 nitro engine I have.

The engine has a forward facing exhaust with a 16.5 mm outside (0.64 in) diameter

and the pipe is 19.00 mm outside (0.74) diameter.

Needs to be 180 degrees with level curve.

Center to center (ie. curve diameter of pipe) is not too important.

Looking on Ebay for suitable car/buggy headers, but it is hard to get the right one that will suit my exhaust diameter.

Any ideas would be great.

Need to know what make engine for the bolt pattern as they are not all the same.

No bolts.

The engine exhaust is round.

The header will need spring retainer.

Will attach photo of the engine I have.

This is for a OS .21VZ-M it should work, but it does look a little pricey for me ( I didn't check the number am assuming they are close, you know what assuming does (makes an ***** out of you and me)).

is that a Team infinity engine?

Looks to me as a Chinese engine it doesn't have any markings that are on this side, I would imagine trinity would mark there engines.

Ross, I used a Nova Rossi header as it stays close to the engine. Rossi and a lot of the 1/8 scale truck and buggie headers place the pipe out too far to fit in most mono's.

The engine was shipped to me in a box with the ASP all over it, but the engine has no markings, except for the 21 stamp.

Where did you buy that motor from??That look like a thundertiger want a be. Here's a header that will work for you!!!! Trust me on this!! I play with nitro trucks. This team 4.6 header will work.it will fit.21-.32 motors. The only differents is the header gaskets.there two sizes.all these style headers are universal=they fit all.21-.32 with that type of exaust header. I have an OPS 21 "Rally" case engine I'm having trouble finding a 180 degree header for. Any help on this one?
