Hi Guys have a wee problem I have tried to run a 3.5 in a 3 foot hull the engine go,s nuts but as soon as i put it in the water under load it just dies so put it in a smaller hull 2 foot but the engine will not rev out i was using 10% as i have a few air boats but i got 20% big bang today will that solve my problem do i run the engine rich or lean it out i look forward to your replies kind regards stewart

UPDATE GOT 20% BIG BANG MY GOD IT GO,S LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL GET IT IN THE WATER TOMORROW THANK YOU EVERY ONE FOR YOUR HELP

You found the problem,

runs great out of the water and dies in the water, TOO lean, must run rich out of the water and need to bleep the throttle to clear out.

oh, please use smaller font.

Chances are if it is running really good on shore and then dies in the water - you have it set too lean so bring the needle out so you have to keep juicing the throttle to keep it running on shore then give it a good toss and gas it soon as it hits the water and try to keep it wide open till your up and running.

Thank you i sort of gave up on my boats but i have got an irvine 61 to put in it very big the pipe is nearly 2 foot trying to get it in is being a problem lol but i will try the 3.3 in my wee 2 foot jet arrow kind regards stewart
