.20ci sized KIT??
 

I'm looking for a .20 sized kit. I see Dumas still lists a DV20 on its site but this is a wood kit. I would like a fiberglass kit. I am thinking something like an Aquacraft Supervee 27, but I would prefer a kit because I don't need an extra AM radio and don't want a pull-start engine etc. Seem like most of the kits I have found on the internet are for Gas boats or large nitro boats.

I'm an adult and have been building RC models for 30 years but I'm not familiar with the current market in the smaller nitro kits (if any are even available). I have two larger nitro boats but would like a smaller one for my son. I specifically want to avoid the RTR market and don't need a competition boat.

As I search, I am answering my question here. I have found the Koyosho Lamborghini C-1 Cat GP21 Kit. Although it does include a pull-start engine, the rest of it looks like it would be what I am looking for.

ic-racer... I'm kinda getting back into it after many years too. Lots of RTR stuff out there, but not many FG hulls only. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place. My son is 7 and loves to go to the pond with me. It a nice father-son things to do together. If you find a source of hulls let me know (granted I haven't looked too hard)... I have seen a few on eBay new and used, but not many otherwise.

Icracer..stay the heck way from that Koyosho lambo cat.21!! Its a piece of junk big time!!!![:'(] That hull is 40" long and has a.21![:'(] The.21 is way to small for that hull!![:'(] Plus RCU rated it poorly too. It has bad handling issues too.

There are plenty of good fiberglass boat hulls in the size that you're looking for. Seaducer and Speedmaster are a couple of the better ones, Aeromarine has a few in both mono and Cat styles.
