flywheel size
 
what is won if for example you fix a heavy flywheel to an engine or you fix a lighter flywheel to the same engine .??
i think torque or revs ?

most of the newer engines are setup to run with a smaller flywheel. you are quicker off the line and you can recover faster coming out of a corner. so maybe it's just my ignorance but i don't know what the benefit of a heavier flywheel would be.
