has anyone out there had problems replacing the silicone stuffing tube. the old one came out easy enough, but the new one wouldn't go in. had to sand it down a little and even then had to put alot of force to get it in. I've replaced plenty of these in other boats with no problem.

There's a trick to putting them in, they have to be heated up then stretched first. Cutting a little bevel on the end helps also. They will return to shape after cooling.
