Default Four Star 60 replacement

Here's the deal. I've been flying for a little over a year. I've owned QQ Yaks, Chip Hyde Vision, smaller 3D airplanes. Out of all these I've loved my SIG Four Star 60 {kit/clipped wings/ST 90} more than any of them. Simplicity, stable flight, fast, built like a Sh$%^ brick house}. I just dinked it for the last time. I am considering getting another "sport airplane" in the .60 size but don't know what can beat the 4 Star.
Any ideas for a ST 90 engine.
No tricycle gear
Flies fast
Aerobatic
Stable
Solid
Somewhat attractive {No stiks}
64-68 inch wingspan
Would prefer no cowls/wheel pants
No 3D, just pure fun

To be honest, I will probably get another 4 Star unless there is a strong argument for a suitable replacement

Venture 60. Same designer of the 4 star 40 & 120. Has more personality than the 4 star 60. Made by Bruce Tharpe Engineering (BTE).

My suggestion is get another 4 star. I did the same thing you did and tried to replace a great flying ACE R/C 4-40 (with 3/4" of dihedral rather than the 3 inches recommended by the instructions). I tried a Easy Sport 40 and I tried a 40 sized stick. These planes were not the 4-40. The stick was close but again not the same.

I know the temptation is big to try another plane, but my suggestion is get another 4 star.

Curtis.

P.S.
One last thing. I recently picked up a 4-40 and have just started the build process. THe easy sport 40 and the Stick are going to be stripped and retired.

Only two Planes will come close to what you want;
Lanier Stinger and
Super Chipmunk

Sorry - the Chip has a cowl.
