RE: engine size
One of our club members has one with a pretty old 31 cc gas engine. He's happy with the performance.
The SIG 1/4 Spacewalker is estimated at 13 pounds. Something like a G26 should pull it pretty well.

RE: engine size
Is it the Sig Spacewalker II that you are talking about? If so, I have that kit that I am soon to start building. I plan to use a G26. I was going to use a Ryobi 31 that I converted but ran into a problem with the flywheel. The flywheel is too big and will rub the top inside of the cowl. If it were converted to EI it would work but the G26 turns out to be an easier fix.
