Default Excelleron 50

Is anyone flying the Excelleron 50? What engine are you using, and what has been your experience with it? Likes, dislikes, flyability, etc? thanks. Jon

G'day Mate,
I don't have one, but one of our members does, he has an OS 46AX in it swinging an 11x6 APC prop, I believe, & has won 2 aerobatic competitions with it, he loves them.
The Excelleron 90 is an excellent aircraft as well.
They are great aerobatic trainers, I mean real aerobatics, not 3D.

Thanks for your response...don't you have the GIles 202 by GSP/CMP? How is that going, not that I want to switch focus of my thread. I am thinking of getting the Excelleron 50 and powering it with the basic OS 70 four stroke, since I don't have a 40 size plane in my stable. (Well, I do, but my boys forced me to retire it in one good looking piece since it is 25 years old now.) Looks like a lotta fun! Just wondering if anybody has first hand experience about weak points in the design of the plane, quirks, good points of course, etc. Does your friend particpate in RC UNiverse? Maybe you can direct him to the site and thread. Thanks! Jon
