Side mounting an engine on GP Stik 40
Hello
I am looking at getting GP Big Stik 40 for a SAITO FA56 that is homeless.
I really want to mount the engine sideways. Would I have to redrill and remount the engine mount?

If you are using a Great Planes motor mount, you should not have to redrill the firewall mount holes and it would all depend on if the engine and muffler all clear the sides of the plane when it is turned sideways if you have to redrill the motor mount holes. You will probaly have to relocate your throtle push rod and make sure that the fuel tank holes are still going to work. Good Luck, Dave
