Ultra Sport Arf
 

All,
If you had to choose a ARF that is currently in production that is most similar to the ultra sport 40 or ultra sport 40+ what would it be?

Go to greatplanes.com and click on the "suggest our next plane link". Maybe if they hear it enough, they'll consider a modern Ultrasport ARF.

I would second that Carlosponti..... The Venus would have more similar flying characteristics. I liked the World Models Zen 50 as well. It's more like a pattern bird but my US40 flies very similar to the Zen I used to have...... But Why not US40 from a KIT?????

It takes me a long time to build a kit and I currently have a ultra sport 60 on my building board, but don't expect to complete it by next spring. My Ultra sport 40+ I wrecked so I now have a surpass 70 that I would like to find a place to put it for next spring. I liked the way my ultra sport 40+ flew so I wanted a plane that flew similar. Was thinking a revolver or a reactor also. Thanks for the suggestions so far

From my time on the simulator, I actually liked the Venus II better than the Ultra Sport. It just seemed like I could do more with it.

Actually there is a guy at my club that flies all three of the planes that you are talking about.... WOW!..... That's it get all three and you can have the best of all worlds! :)
When he flies them, to me, it looks like they all fly very similarly.

i have both the revolver and venus. the revolver is a faster airframe, more sport. the venusis more pattern style, not as slipery a airframe.
