Radio Interference to RC vehicles
FCC is proposing rules to Broadcast over Power Lines (BPL) see- http://www.arrl.org/news/stories/2004/03/18/100/?nc=1
Basically this will add radio "noise" in the 2MHz to 60MHz whereever there are powerlines (your house, etc...). Which means that IF you are able to still control your vehicle (air, land, water) you will have less range due to the increased noise. We, in Amateur Radio, are expecting serious degradation to HF and VHF communications. I just thought you should be aware too. FCC isn't really listening to Amateur Radio, FEMA, nor the fact that 6 other countries, like Japan, have tried and dumped BPL. r/s dlb |
RE: Radio Interference to RC vehicles
With the advent of more and more devices that are wireless or able to handle faster commnuncation speeds (BPL), we will have more and more background RF noise. It may take time to develop and install the technology that will make noise generate by BPL a non-event.
