rating system
 

i think it would be a good idea to have a rating system for people to try to make people think twice before they post, kinda like what they did at rccrawler. all it would take is a way to leave feedback for a persons post, and a corresponding color to go along with good, bad or netural feedback.

jjust an idea, but it might keep people in line better because their reputation is on the line.

It's been tried a few times, and it seems there is much voice against it, than for it.

Not to mention the amount of abuse it seemed to spawn, directed at certain members & such..
(Marc, didn't you get very very deep into the negatives?!?)

Rating the post, cool. But it seemed to also rate the poster, bad.

(And it starts to make you feel bad & small. Not a good thing for someone's self esteem.)

You can always post to object to the offending post, post a correction, and/or offer another angle on the post..
