selecting view new posts since last visit
 

Is there a way so that we could select which forums we would like to show when we select new posts since last visit, or anytime for that matter. sorting thru 1200+ posts after a weekend with all of the car forums and jet forums and 1/2 a etc forums that dont appeal to me takes forever. It would be nice if I could select what forums I want to show under my username

this feature is #1 on my programming list...I've just been behind about 4 weeks on it :)

I'm still configuring our 2nd server to balance load which will take a couple more days and that is the next thing I'll work on barring other things backing me up.

Ok...check the time of my last post...I decided to see if I could quick code this & I think I did.

I thought this would be a full day affair but it might just be done. Test it out. All the forums that you subscribe to are the only ones that will be searched with this link below. To subscribe to any forum go into it and click subscribe to forum link. All subscribed forums will appear in a custom view in the MyRCU control panel where you can unsubscribe to them and manage them.

If this works I'll add it to the homepage under the global view new posts as "view new posts in my subscribed forums only"

Also if you click the little + or - sign on the homepage for any major heading category it will collapse it. So for an example if you were only into cars you could collapse the helicopter forum and airplane forum from your home page view.

I am also working on using the subscribed forums that appear only in your MyRCU to also optionally be the only ones that appear on your custom home page.
