Scammers alert
 

Hi guys,since there is so many scumbag scammers trying to screw us on RCU cant you put a banner or something up so that people have to read it before going to the different forums ? there seams to be alot of guys that havent heard of the current scam going on i hate to see anybody get burned .The way this new scam is working is the scammer will tell the seller that he is going to send the seller 3500.00 for his 700.00 aircraft then as soon as he recieves the cashiers check or m.o. to wire the remainder to his shipping agent asap . The seller western unions the money to the scammer because there is no shipping agent and then the counterfiet cashiers check bounces a couple of days later and the sellers money is long gone and he has to pay back the bank also .I had a guy try to do this to me on a truck shell for sale through the internet.Hope this helps ,Bushwacker404

There are warnings all over the place regarding this scam. Inserting a forced ad as you suggest will not please the members, despite our trying to help them. We have the warnings in place where the members are most likely to see them, but ultimately we must rely on the members to see through the scam. In the mean time we continue shutting them down as fast as they come back.
