First, let say that RCU is a great site. Now, let me make a suggestion. STOP CHANGING THINGS. I think sometimes that computer people change things just to be doing something, or to try to justify their jobs. I don't know a lot about computers, as a lot of people my age, so when I get accustomed to navigating around a site and it gets changed, it causes a problem for a while. I'm having trouble with the new way you have "forum" set up. I don't like it. Change it back and leave it.

Yes Richard, thats very well said. We think the way things work, we take time to get used to it. Even with computer Back ground (MSC in Computer Sciences) I am a computer person, but still when it comes to getting used to somethings, it takes time and by then, we find things are changed. I am totally with you. RC Universe should not make changes so often.

When I do a "Search all Forums", what comes up is totally different from what I am accustomed to. I just did that again prior to sending this and found that it is a beta test. Put it back the way it was.

What else are you going to change. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Richard - the old search is also available. The new search is better for 95% of the searches. if you want the old search just click the link on the beta search page at the top. that link will be permanent since the old search is part of the database. The old search was the number one complaint of RCU members because it was slow and yielded bad or no results too many times.

As far as if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Horse and Buggy - wasn't broken..got you there just fine..we have cars and planes now.
Candles - wasn't broken...gave you light...we have light bulbs today
The search you like and don't want us to change...is our 2nd search actually..our last one was completely different using different software

In our business if you aren't changing and moving forward you are moving BACKWARDS. There is always room for improvement.
