3000 and 3250

i have two itallion version SUPERtigres , one 3250 , one 3000.

Will the carb from the 3250 fit the 3000 ?

Yes, but you may need to check to see if the S-3000 has the shim inside the mounting boss. Depending upon when the S-3000 was made, it may have had the smaller carb and had a shim to "neck down" the intake boss.

so if you take the shim out of the 3000 , the 3250 carb will fit? the 3000 i own does have the early carb.
