G-51 idle screw adjustment
How many turns out would be a good starting point for the IDLE MIXTURE SCREW? I'm sure that I must be way off and want to get it back to the factory, or your recomended setting. Thanks

RE: G-51 idle screw adjustment
The easiest way to reset the idle mixure screw is to pull the carb off the engine and look through the bottom of the carb throat. With the throttle fully open, you'll see a slot cut in the brass spraybar with a silvered colored idle needle partially blocking it. You should adjust the idle needle so that it reaches half way across the opening at full throttle.
