Default Blue Head Super Tigres

I've been gathering up some old Super Tigre engines form the 1970's, and noticed very frequently a given model will be made with (or without) a blue anodized head. I've seen this for 25's, 40's and especially 60's. There doesn't seem to be any difference in the dimensions of the heads, but I've not actually measured them and thought perhaps a wizened veteran out there can tell me - is there any difference between a blue-head and the usual uncolored head engine? Other than the fact that one is blue, that is?

Thanks so much,
RB8

If for the same engine, then, no. Color means nothing. It was only a way to make their engines more visually distinctive.
