will a OS 7D fit the st4500

I have a fairly new st 4500, unfortunatley it is very rich in the midrange, I had the same problem with a ST3000, this was sorted with a os 7D carb and pump. I still have these items spare, will the 7D fit my italian built 4500 ?

If an O.S. Max #7D carb fits a current engine, it should fit an older one. They are identical.
