Default ST 60 RPM

I'm using a 12x6 prop on an old ST60. Approx. what rpm should the engine pull at WOT?

Thanks

Depending upon which engine you have, you can turn the 12 x 6 propeller from about 11,500 on up. There are several different engines that people call an "ST .60". SuperTigre made several models of .60/.61-sized engines, and sometimes there were as many as three or four versions being manufactured at the same time.

Bill, this is a V60 light case, Italian version. Based on your info, I'll ballpark 11500 when tuning wot.

Thanks

11,500 and up would be good for the old, light-case ST-60 (as they were officially called). All of the other engines had more power and could turn the same-size propeller faster...the G-60 and X-60 are the other ones made about the same time.
