Default Just putting my new 700E together

Man, so far this thing is sweet. The motor is huge. I don't like having to use 2 huge batteries to power it but oh well, it will be nice. I am almost done putting it together and then setup. I am impressed so far. It is even better than the 250 and 450 SE I have. Hope it flies as good as it looks.

I ended up going with the flybar. I thought about it a lot but felt that for what I am doing with it, the flybar works fine. If I were putting it into a scale bird, I would go the other way. One less piece of electronics to screw with.

Good deal. I am working on getting a 600. I have everything but the frame and batteries. I will hopefully get mine in the next month or two.

Here are a couple taken with my gopro cam, it rounds the pictures a bit. This thing is built very well. I have a ways to go. Gotta see someone that has done the speed control, it looks like a nightmare.

Heres a hokey camera mount I made out of PVC. Still looking for a better material to make it from, but this will work for starters. I will hang it from the skids with some sort of bungee to get rid of vibration and mount the camera to the center in front. That part is not done yet. Then I can make some pretty cool vids. This little camera is amazing.

The 1080 P Hero, they are all the same camera, just different mounts from what I was told.

The price and performance of the 700e is why you can't sell your R90 unless you donate it and write it off your taxes

Flown the 700 a couple times now. All I can say is WOW, that thing has a ton of power. It is kind of intimidating. If those blades hit you, you are toast. There is nothing to slow them, the power is incredible.

One word of warning on the thing though. Any bolt installed by the factory, remove and put locktite on it. They do a horrible job of tightening them and every one that the factory had installed has worked loose in 2 flights. Just stay on the maint and check them well.

Oh yea, the other huge drawback to this heli is the flight time. 2 huge batteries and you get 6 minutes of flight time with them and 2 hours to charge. Not a huge deal, just a drawback. It will make a great camera ship when I get used to it. The factory gyro works way better than I ever thought it would. I have always sold them and went futaba but I won't do that any more. These things work great.
