A buddy of mine created this video simply using a Trex 500, FPV equipment and a handheld Sony HD camera. There is nothing special about his setup, but it just goes to show how flight skill is a determining factor in producing good quality video and photos. Apparently he spent less than $2000 on his setup. Just goes to show you don't have to put $10,000+ into your system.

Very nice!
Im quite surprised at the quality. I always thought a heli had too many vibes to overcome to make it worthwhile/cheap to do. Always thought the quad (or more) rotor was the better platform. This video changed my opinion of that.
What kind of mount did your friend use?
