I hovered my Trex 450 plus today! What a great feeling. Hovered off 2 batterys no problem. Really smooth heli right out of the box.

Quite exciting, isn't it. Congratulations.
I have told people it is a similar feeling to kissing your first girl.
It make you want to do it again.

I started on cheap, plastic head Leader Hobby 450's and 3 honey bee kings. My first hover was on a HeliMax CP3 right out of the box. I then knew that setup was everything, and I had not learned to set up my builds properly.

It is now about 3 years later, and while I still tend to crash alot, I can fly without crashing over an entire weekend.

The helicopter went right over the head of the guy filming.  My first concern was his welfare.
The Gaui is back in the air with about $30 USD to get going.
The truck will take a little more to fix.

You'll fall in love with her too. I had 43 flights under my belt with my first one before I crashed. It was a sickening feeling for a little bit and still is when you crash. Just take it slow and have the goal in mind that you'll take it easy and not get cocky and you'll bring her home in one piece. Then your brain will think one thing and your thumb will do another. You'll curse and then chuckle a bit. buy parts put her back together and repeat.... where does it end??? it doesn't!!!

Hey guys I have this trex 450 dfc rtf.. It's a good flying helie I have some issues with it thow so if anyone else sees this and has any of these problems feel free to comment. Ok 1. Problem after I say 40 flights or so servos all but tail servo stopped working very strange to me, has happened twice the only way I could get them working again was to go in radio settings change the swash head type and then switch it back to H1 than they would work again very odd. 2. Was flying yesterday for 5mins that's how long I also fly doing mostly front and backwards flight some loops nothing to hard on her at all this flight, came in to land been 6mins at this time was about 6 feet off growing and motor gave out shut off!! Esc don't feel hot or motor strange brought inside went throw hole system never could get motor to work at all! So orderd new castle esc hope this works thinking about getting a scropion motor to lol. I have about 50 to 60 flights on her fly it probley 4to 5 times a day for 3 months just guessing here want to know if anyone else expecicenced any of these issues my one opion is that the esc is not very good but anyways if you have this heli all in all great heli
