Anybody know anything about the T-Rex 450SE, the good , bad and the ugly of this machine. when did they stop making it and what did it go for? Thanks

It's an older style and I am not fond of it. One of the things I don't like about it is that each side has 2 pieces and is a pain to deal with the spacers. You can still get clone versions of it, so parts are available. It is a belt drive as well.

I bought one on a whim about 2007 or so, the kit was around $400 or so. it was my first electric heli and I still have it, upgraded the motor to the 450MX. It has been in a MD500 fuselage and recently pulled it out for a bit of an overhaul when I put the new motor in. For basic sport flight and mild acro it is okay. Parts availability is good, miniature fingers would help with the microscopic screws and such. Belt drive is fine with me, less parts to replace if you auger in.
