Default CAN I USE HS-65HB as tail servo for my Trex?

I am not looking for a very expensive servo right now. I am a beginner so I want something that will work the tail but also not more than $30.

Thank you all

I'm useing the HS-56HB for a tail servo with the Align gyro. It works fine for me. I'm like you in that I'm still learning so I can't say how this setup would work for 3D, but for 9 flights now I've had no trouble.

I have the align gyro too, thank you all for the comments.
How does your gyro work. It sounds like good so far.
I just build my Trex. Can you send me some pictures of your t-rex please? [email protected]

Thank you

The 56 will not hold the tail for 3d but it is great for learning.

Try HS-81.. much better tail servo than 56 and 65 but slightly bigger in size

I thought that the HS56 was the standard servo to use on the tail. The 65 is slower, so I do not thing it would be desireable.

dhotamis,
I'm still learning about the gain. so far I can't tell the differance between normal and heading lock, but I've only hovered it indoors.
I did spin it around in a hover (I don't know if that qualifys as a piroet or not) and it seemed to work fine. I can't really say how good this setup is since I don't have any thing to compare it to exept the blade CP I used to have. Any way, heres some pics.
