it will work but the li-pos dont usually have that connector, and when charged it will be dangerous as its not a balanced charger and could overcharge one cell making it explote, so i really recomend getting a 80 dollar good charger that shows whats going on and that has safety features think of it this way 80 so your house wont burn down.

Using the Triton, now there's Triton2 out capable of higher output for larger Mah lipo. The Trition v 1 does 2.5 for up to a 2500mah. I'm using a ThunderPower balancer, you can buy the Eqinox for roughly $38 that's made for Triton-temp probe. My favorite and more $$ is the TP 1010 w/balancer. With 1010 you can go from Trex 450 lipo to the Rex 600 higher cell count w/same charger.

Another important factor I like about Triton, you can see how much you've used and tewll how much your putting back into the Lipo. This allows a much better longevity of your Lipo, as on a Trex its not advisable that you run the Lipo down to much. This shortened the life of the pack severly. You need to slowly break-in a Lipo to extend its service, by using a timer and for several flights time it to 3 minutes or so to condition the Lipo. It pays off in the long run..

I was going to get the, Great Planes ElectriFly Equinox LiPo Cell Balancer 1-5 to go with the charger I have. I just did not know if my charger had the power.
Do you think this would get me by for a little wile?
I could save up for the Triton, & I think the Equinox will work with it also.
What you think.
