Default tail wags on t-rexsa

i have a trex sa with 401 gyro and a hitec hs-56 on the tail. i cant get the wag out hh want hold . there is no wonder on the tail (drift) just wags the gain is at about 30% can any one help thanks
and what is the best gear to use with the 430l and 335 blades

Did you make a new hole in the tail servo arm? Try and place the ball link in as close to center as you can and this will let you drive the gain up.

Ream out the hanger under the horizontal so the tail pushrod moves very free and put a drop of 3in1 oil in that spot. make sure your push rod is a straight shot to the tail ball link. I also put a ball link on the servo too , you should have enuff extra parts with the kit to do this. and do what NVSFlyer said

Also with that gyro I have found that many analog servos dont last really well in Heading Lock mode. With the speed of that gyro the servo will always be playing catch-up. I would recommend investing in a good tail servo. (futaba 9650 or the JR 3400G) for best performance.
