Morning,

I have read articles before that indicate a up and down vibration as being caused by unbalanced rotor blades...

Regards,
Solo.

Mine did this for 1 flight. I landed after just a couple minutes of it and closely inspected the heli. I found the tail belt shredding. After replacing the belt and adding the MX400 idler pulley the tail is smooth again.

It's easy to see if the belt is shredding since there is black dust all over the tail housing and main gear.

ORIGINAL: jgeorgic

A friend of mine has a SE that does that.By increasing it got rid of the problem on his heli.

I'm unsure of what is being increased( you didn't specify), but........
Low headspeed
Blades out of balance or track
Heli not balanced on center of gravity
Drag in the system
Screws too tight in the mixer arms
or........
Using the blue main gears withouth the tail reduction gears.

Hope this helps,
Don

Low head speed or your blades need to be balanced and tracked. What motor, pinion, and battery are you using?
