Default best T-Rec out of these:

hi, i am looking at buying a T-Rex 600 and didn't know what model was the best. my local hobby shop said that the CF was bad since the carbon fiber gave it less range, resulting in worse control?

what would be the best, for a beginner:

1) T-Rex 600CF
2) T-Rex 600SE
3) any other suggestions?

thx. Phatmat.

Hi Phatmat, I bought the aluminum frame version and are in the building stage. The T-rex 600 is outstanding quality and easy to build. I also had to make the choice of CF or Aluminum, While building this heli I'm glad I went with AL, everything screws together and I'd think CF would crack under pressure of the screws if you were to have a hard landing or crash. The Aluminum version is tuff, I don't think it would even bend if you hit hard or crashed; it would probably just break the fiberglass or plastic parts frist. I'm probably being a but head, is the CF for Carbon fiber? SE Superior Edition? Anyways that's just my 2 cents worth.

yeh, the CF is the full carbon fibre version. i don't know what SE stands for, but it had the full metal parts for the head assembly and many more.

so there is a AL model aswell?

would someone mind telling me all the possible models for the T-Rex 600? so far i only know the CF, SE, and AL.

thx. Phatmat.
