Default tail

hi all i got two trex one the tail goes clockwise the other goes the counter clock can some one help thank you kevin

It depends on how you twist the belt in the tail boom.

The instructions show you how it's done properly.

When looking at the right side of the heli, the tail should be spinning counter clockwise.

Since helicopters are very sensitive machines, I would like someone who truly knows what they are talking about to also reply as I am just going by the instructions book, I would hate to lead you in the wrong direction.

I've watched the Famous Finless videos, he talks about the tail moving up toward the main blade. Which means they should turn counter clockwise when viewing from the right. So yes you are correct.

That's exactly correct. For all RC helis that I've ever seen:

- Main rotor turns clockwise (when viewed from above)

- Tail rotor turns counter-clockwise (when viewed from the right side of the heli)

Take a look at some of the older machines like the Kavans...


Anyways, the leading blade should go up and into the main rotor wash so the correct answer is ..................counter clockwise. The way to remember is no matter the tail design, if the tail rotor hits the ground it should kick dirt towards the front of the heli.
