Default How I installed My Electronics

This is how I setup the Electronics in My T-Rex.

This is just for an example of how I did it.

Have fun

PS: The grey circle under the battery tray is my Li-Po Alarm

Nicely done! One way I tell if someone is good at something is that they make it look easy. Doc

Is there a reason that you ran your servo wires on the outside instead of the inside. IMHO that creates a cleaner look and the zipties keep it out of mechanics. Other then that your bird is looking pretty prime. Nice gyro mounting I'm curious to see how well that works out for you. I'd also say that servo wires could be shortened, but the extra clean cable management allows me to let that slide.

Thanks all, It flies great.

Actually this was my throw back together wiring job after my last crash (dumb thumbs).

I'm waiting on a new tail pitch lever, as I snapped mine off, actually I think it got damaged in the crash.

I landed and when I wrent to take off again it just piroed so I was lucky it did not snap in the air and cause a new crash.

No need to shorten the wires as a ziptie does the trick just fine and
when I switch over to digitals the old ones will be ready for the next project.

As for the outside, I'm not going to worrie about seeing 2 inches of wireing (AKA I was lazy)

Mabie when I put the digitals in I'll throw some sleaving over it.

Just curious ... Futaba recomends that the gyro be mounted at least 10cm from the motor to reduce interference. Looks like your gyro is pretty close to your motor. Have you flown this configuration?

Thanks, I may move mine to the bottom of the frame. I have already had one broken by the flybar in a crash.
