Flight times?
How much flight time do you get?
In another post the question came up and the average was around 7 to 9 minutes with a 2100mah battery.
I know I was getting a good 10 minutes with a 1320mah battery. I thought maybe I timed it wrong the one and only time I actually did time it so I just timed another flight.
I hovered, in gusty wind, at about 2 feet for exactly 11 minutes with a 1320mah Dual Sky Xpower battery.
I had 3.5 volts per cell left after the flight.
Why such long flight times compared to others?
Using a stock align 420L motor with 13 tooth pinion and Phoenix 35A esc. All aluminum head and tail, carbon boom and upgraded blue gears.

I regularly get 12 minute easy/ hovering flights with my 450S (2200 mah) before the volt warning tells me to land.
I have my timing set to mid, with soft start, highest cutoff voltage
stock Align 35x ESC and 430l motor w/13t pinion.
If you have high timing set the flights are cut to about 6 minutes.

what is your head speed??
and just hovering is easy on the bats...
Mine would get about 10 min of just hovering and play flying...
about 6 min or so of 3d

430L, 12T pinion, 450S CF frame. 2150mAH battery. I get 9 minutes in Idle up if flying slowly, 7 or 8 minutes if I start hrowing the heli about the sky. Low battery warning is set to 9.6+ volt.
