Default Use metal on tail pitch control?

I have now brocken two of the plastic arms that control the tail pitch 450SE V2 (the one that connects to the servo link). I admit the first crash deserved it, I smacked it very well and bent the boom. But the second crash only popped the tail a little.

My concern is that if I go to a metal link, the next time I might be stripping gears from that very expensive digital servo. So do I stick with plastic and let it break or try the metal. What has been your experience? What setup do you like?

Thanks in advance,

Larry

I use the micro heli aluminum control arm and have had no problems with stripping out the tail servo. Get one, you won't be sorry.
