Default Question about Revo Mixing and HH Gyros

OK I have a question. I am still kinda old school so someone help me out here. If you have a heading hold gyro then there is no need for revo mixing? Is this correct or not? [sm=50_50.gif]If you run your gyro in rate mode then would you need revo mixing to compenstate tail movement on ascents and descents? If you run revo with hh does it effect anything in particular? If the hh gyro is working properly then the revo mix would not come into play unless you have the gyro in rate mode.
I could be way off here or slightly on track. Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated. [sm=teeth_smile.gif] I have an older JR X388s Transmitter that has all that wonderfull mixing on it.

Oh Yea I am the proud new owner of a Trex 450se V2 but, Wife won't let me play with it until Christmas. [] All I can say is she better not leave for very long. [sm=angel_smile.gif]

That is correct. Revo Mixing is only useful for rate mode.
