Default HS-5000,L2100, 401 or 7703D

I narrowed my 3 selection of gyros to use for my T500, I know there are better ones but these should be fine for a noob like me. Which one would you recommend?

I think the Hitec HS 5000 is the same as the Logitech 2100 gyro, I could be wrong.

I don't know about the Hitec, but after asking around myself and reading posts, I ended up buying the LT2100. It is about half the size of the very good and very popular Futaba GY401, but about $35 cheaper, and is considered to be on par with Futaba. The 7703D is also a very good gyro, but comes into it's own in heavy 3D maneuvers. Being a noob, I don't think you will benefit as much from the 770 3D's capabilities until you are doing extreme 3D.

If you are looking for the overall best deal as far as price and value go, I would suggest IMHO the Logitech LT2100. It is gaining a following, and their is help in setting it up on the forums as well.

The 401 has been the standard, and you can't go wrong with that one either. You will find so many people using it, that you will never have to look far, or read far, for help with setting it up.

The HS-5000 is so new that I don't know anything about it. I am sure some of the more experienced guys will be able to help give you some more info. on that one.

Hope this helps a little,

Well I went with the Hitec 5000 in mine, the included servo is awesome and it is a very good gyro for my skill level. I haven't tried any of the others in my T-rex 500, but honestly go with any of them and you will be happy, you probably won't even notice the difference. I say go for the 5000 because it costs less than the 401.
