Default Short flight time on the 600 Rx li-poly?

I found that I was only getting 3 flights on the li-poly rx that comes with the 600 before I was down to one green light on the BEC. I replaced the poly and BEC with a stacked 2000 mah 5cell 6vt nimeh pack that I made up and now go 6-7 flights without a problem. Has anyone else have the reduced Rx poly time?

I haven't noticed this problem using the stock lipo that comes with the kit.

My 600 is the original aluminium frame so the 1100 li-poly may be just suffering from old age. The 2 on 3 pak at 6vt is working quite well mounted on the bottom rack below the head. I have flown the 2000 6vt paks for many years on airplanes, the weight between the li-poly and BEC is about the same as the nimt pak with no difference in the balance.
