Default Storm Rock-7 AVCS gyro

I am a newb here. Have a T-rex knock-off (EXI 450) and was wondering if anyone has puchased the new Storm Rock-7 gyro????? I have found it at this link :

http://www.rchelicoptershop.com/cata...elt-p-665.html I am currently using a "borrowed Futaba gy401. Really love the little sucker!, but ..... I think a new one is alittle pricey for me. Any help would be appreciated. I am not doing 3D, nor do I plan too, going the scale route.
Thanks for the input in advance

Lol ! I don't know about the gyro you are mentioning, but check this out.

http://cgi.ebay.com/GULANG-GM700-AVC...742.m153.l1262

I think they both made by the same company (Why not 401??) and they put different tags.

The one i mention is doing really great and with a bit luck (as it is in an auction too) you can get it really cheap.

Good luck anyway.

The Telebee heading hold gyro is a known OK budget gyro. It is not a 401 but is good enough and will do you just fine for any sport flying.
I have one on my HDX 450 as we speak and can't complain.
The price is about the same as the Storm Rock you mention.
