Default T-rex 450se tail servo

Hey,

I need some advice on buying a tail servo for my T-rex450se. Im curently flying with a HS-56hb on the tail with a 401 and hs65mg on cyclic. Im starting to look for an up-grade since im starting to fly 3D and the tail just dont hold well enough. Whats a decent digi tail servo for under $50?

Also, the last two flights I had with the heli ended with the heli spinning out of control. The first time it happen, i asumed it was the cheap align gyro so i upgraded to the 401 and the heli ended up spinning out of control 3/4 way thue the pack. It happen so fast I didn't have enough time to see if it was spining cw or ccw. First thing i looked at after the crash was the belt and it seemed to be on the pulleys just fine. Hopefully changing the tail servo will fix this problem. Anyone know of anything ells I can take a look at to solve this besides it being the tail searvo?

Any advice would be greatly appriciated,

Jakub

Futaba 9650 and 9257 @ $54 or so. Futaba 3154 @ $34. The 3154 and the 9257 are limited to 5.1 volts so if you have the 6V bec in your ESC use the 9650 or use a $5 step down regulator to 5.1V. But, It really sounds like you may also need to fine tune the set up.

RC flight
I had the same problem. The servo could not handle the amount of info from the gyro, even when increasing expo. Apart from the volts issue 9257 is a designated rudder servo and it is faster than the 9650. Hopefully you are running 5 volts.
Cheers
