KC lets just hope its 40.00 bucks for barebones kit would be nice

It will be here in a week. I just ordered it today. I put my friends together this weekend in about 2 hours. Nice work from the factory. I hope it flys as good as it looks. The partrs are kind of small, a pain with big hands. Should be fun to take on trips though. Less to pack.

the real 250 is $350 with motor, gyro, servos and speed control. Why waste time on a clone. The 250 is all metal and glass. Its very nice. I put one together for a guy last weekend. Just ordered one for myself. Nice stuff.

I'm leary of ordering from any of these places in China. I tried to get my feet wet with a Walkera 4#3B from eHIROBO last year. The controller didn't work straight out of the box and they told me 'too bad'. I wasted over $100 on something I have never been able to fly.
I played around with my brothers a little. This weekend he brought his TREX 250 and I flew it several times. He couldn't believe I was able to instantly fly. I have flown planes for years and understand the concept of helis so it wasn't too hard.
I was going to buy another Walkera but after flying the 250 I want one, bad.

There's a guy on eBay selling the Align TREX 250 Super Combo (Heli, motor, esc, servos, gyro, blades and tools.) for $329 with $10 shipping to me.
That's $339 in my hands. The LHS want's $430 plus tax. Is that about the best I'm going to do?

The copterX CX200 is not a clone or copy of the Trex250. It is a completely different design and been around for over 1 year already. The latest one is the V3 which have different frame, stronger main and tail shaft compare to the original cx200 v1. I heard they are working on a new v3.5 which will have new canopy and some update to the motor mount to accept bigger motor.

Well, I managed to get a Trex250 clone from my local online shop and wrote a review on it. Check it out. Even the box looks cloned!
Full metal kit + CF body for only USD65 bucks, I think it's worth it. And no tail issues! [8D]
