I'm about ready to get a T-Tex 450 Pro. I found this on eBay. Would it be a good deal or haven't I looked hard enough?

I think the Sport is belt drive? They want $469 for the shaft drive Pro versus $425 on eBay.

Not a problem. Other than the price, is there any advantage of going belt versus shaft? If it's not obvious, I'm pretty left sided on the knowledge bell curve.

If you are learning, you WANT the belt instead of the shaft. It will be more forgiving when you have those other-than-level landings and touch the tail rotor to the ground.

Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking that a shaft driven tail rotor would be more durable than the belt.

I went ahead andbought the Sport Super Combo on eBay. It was $365 plus $17 shipping. I bought it Thursday night and USPS shows delivery today.

Just a heads up, Align won't warranty it if bought from an EBay store.That isunless they are an authorized Align dealer.

Not sure how, but they have excellent prices.. because that 450 Sport Pro Super Combo normally goes for $500 and they are selling it for $364v is insane

I found out after I ordered it on eBay w/$16 shipping that the shipping would have been free on their website. Probably recouping listing fees

I won't have it until tomorrow. The Spektrum DX6i came Saturday. I'm going to build it but not fly it until I master a couple of simpler heli's.
