Regarding Revo

What is REVO mix. Is this something that should be turned off on the radio when your operating a gyro. The directions on the 9CHP are vague on this. Please help.

RE: Regarding Revo

A heading hold gyro needs revo disabled (INH) a normal rate gyro needs some revo mixing.

As you increase power the torque on the drive system increases requiring more tail rotor pitch to keep the helicopters nose pointed in the right direction. Thats all revo does, increase tail rotor pitch as you incrase power and decrases it as you back off.

With a Heading Hold gyro it will cause all sorts of mischief and needs turned off.

What gyro are you running?

Thanks for the info. I am using the 401 gyro with the Align T-Rex. Just wanted to make sure I had the REVO turned off. Thanks for the post..

RE: Regarding Revo

Definatly off. Read this. http://www.futaba-rc.com/team/team-tip-002.html

You will have to keep the rod as close as you can to the spine, I had to drill a new hole closer in and run a relatively low gain, mine is at 37.
