Attenna Help!
 

How are you guys wrapping the stock attenna? I have a Deans 1106 boat attenna that the LHS has been selling for blades.It says to replace 15-22" attennas.My Hitec slim 8 ch. is38".Some expert advice please.

I've had good luck with Deans whip antenas....but They come callibarated for the frequecy range they're designed for....So one for a boat (a surface model which I think has the 76 mhz band) will be callibrated differently than one for airborne models (those on the 72 mhz band).... Will the boat one work?? probably.... Will it work as well and have as good of range as one ment for aircraft??? Proabbly not.
