??? Question ??? Trex Paddle Removal Help needed

If anybody can explain (or link me to a post somewhere) how to remove/replace the flybar paddles.

I have a 450SA model and want to try a different paddle type I purchased. (Align Part# HS1192T)

Dis a search on previous posts and could not find anything useful.

As always, I appreciate any help from you experts out there...

Thanks, Robo

I dont profess to be an expert, however, I am in the process of rebuilding my 450SA as a result of a crash and the paddles are threaded on the flybar shaft which is a one piece rod --- simply turn the paddles counterclockwise and they unscrew !! Make sure the flybar weights are positioned correctly and fastened securely.. Hope this helps -- Bill Erickson

So how do you get both paddles level with each other??? (as far as a zero degree angle of attack?)

I'm thinking the paddles are going to turn on the threads of the flybar a certain distance until they become snug, that being when you bottom out in threads of the rod itself.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I appreciate it.

Put a drop of threadlock on the flybar for the last 1/4 inch of thread and you dont need to bottom the paddles out.I let it dry overnight and they dont move.I use 2 pitch guages one on each paddle and sight them across.
