I just bought A T-Rex 450SE V2 with the DX7. The only experience I have is with the Blade CX2 which comes RTF. Can you tell me how your DX7 is setup for the T-Rex? I am completely lost on the radio programming.

I have a T-Rex 450SA setup with:

I am not doing any 3D, just flying circuits. It's dead solid stable and handles and tracks perfect. The Motor and ESC are cool to the touch after running the battery from a full charge down to 10v and the LiPo is warm not hot. Steve |

Tolla,
I believe I'm running about 2400 in governor mode (normal mode). I dont' run in idle-up mode yet! Throttle set to 0,90,90. Sounds about right. I've got my normal throttle curve 0,90,90 as well. I only fly in Idle-up. Normal mode feels too much like a fixed pitch heli to me, especially when throttling down from FFF into a hover. Idle-up is much more stable. With the DX6 My Idle-up throttle curve is set 90,90,100 and that I tached at 2580 at 90%. |
RE: post your set-ups!
Tolla,
Could you give me a rundown of your DX6 settings? Mine works ok (not perfect) but I am trying to fine tune the CCPM settings as well as some other stuff. It would be great to have a comparison to someone else running a DX6 with those hitec servo's. |
RE: post your set-ups!
Devmode-
Your setup looks almost identical to mine. Would you mind posting your DX6 settings as well? I'm trying to get an idea how people are setting up their DX6's with the T-Rex. Mine seems to be "not quite right" and I can't figure out why. Thanks!
