Not sure what you mean.... as in hands off, set the tx down and walk away? Nope....

but can a Cx hover.... upside down? I think not

The Trex needs to be flown

if its setup properly yes it can hover pretty stable w/o that much stick input...

RE: T-Rex hover

I have flown several well set up T-Rex helis. Maybe 10 seconds hands off, and it was a grab at the end to keep it from crashing.
You have to fly the T-Rex (where have I heard that before?)

jerryde,
Are you considering move up from the CX to a T-Rex?

Correction - Now that I have thought about it more, the 10 seconds was with my old Piccolo FP. The T-Rex has not seen much hands off time at all. Just a few seconds to bump the trim now and then.

The T-rex is hands on all the way.It takes time but when you get used to it the t-rex hovers like a dream.just trim it proparly and it will hover as smooth as an .........whell a t-rex!!!!:D

RE: T-Rex hover

Helicopters do not fly, they have to be flown(airplanes fly). It doesn't require alot of input if it's set-up well but you won't be taking your hands off the sticks. I have 2 V2's that you can go hands off for about 3-5 seconds and they are set-up and fly very well.

I've got to agree, you need to fly the T Rex. Its a great flyer but don't think you can go "hands off" hover for more than a few seconds. Good Luck Mike
