What's this part called?

Hi please look at this:
http://www.readyheli.com/ProductDeta...S1175&CartID=3
then the piece on the right,
the Tail rotor control arm x 1

is the one I'm talking about.

Then I search for it I get these results
http://www.readyheli.com/SearchResul...or+control+arm

All of them definately don't have the connecting piece to the left side of this:
http://www.readyheli.com/ProductDeta...S1175&CartID=3

Am I missing something?
Someone would like to help me?
Cause I saw that tail rotor control arm made of metal, I'm willing to get that, or many plastic version.

You're not going to be able to buy just the arm that connects to the slider. You'll have to buy the whole assembly. There is an updated pitch slider that is a little diferent, but I think it's a better design. I use it on my 450. It's the same design used on all the bigger Align helis. I don't see it listed by itself anymore but you can get the slider and the control arm in this, http://www.readyheli.com/HS1198_Tail...y_p/hs1198.htm. Alan

is there a metal version for the one that I need
or the upgraded version?

Cause I have the metal slider and don't wanna go plastic from it,

I buy everything from Microheli. Never had a problem.

They don't make a metal control arm version of the one you have. If you want to go metal, which is what I have , order this one , http://www.readyheli.com/HS1200_Meta...w_p/hs1200.htm. I bought a MicroHeli complete metal tail assembby for my 450 and it didn't work very well. A lot of others said the same thing. Their tail pitch slider my work fine but I prefer to stick with Align parts. The MicroHeli part is also twice the price and I can pretty much guarantee it isn't worth it. Alan

I guess I'm visting my LHS tomorrow..
So, the one I have is the older version
and there is a new version for the slide?

RE: What's this part called?

Yes, I have the newer version. It's the metal one I told you about in my last post. You're LHS may not carry it unless they are very well stocked. I have to order all but the basic stuff online with ReadyHeli and Grand RC getting most of my business. Alan

RE: What's this part called?

I must say

Since this part is out, I went back to Belt-CP for a flight,
T-Rex 450SE is wayyy better. Espicially for tail control.

RE: What's this part called?

My first collective pitch heli was the Heli Max Axe CP. Very hard to fly, I spent months just learning who to hover tail in. That was a little over 2 years ago. I still have it but I don't fly it anymore. I did fly it once after I got my 450 and the difference was night and day. I also have a T-Rex 600nitro Pro and a T-Rex 500 GF along with a Blade CX/2 and a Blade mCX. So I have plenty to fly if one is down for repair. By the way, that metal tail pitch slider comes with a plastic control arm. All my helis have the plastic arm and I have never broken one but they have them in metal now. I don't think metal is really necessary but metal parts do look nice. I'm not going to upgrade to the metal ones because I believe it's a good idea to have it as a "weak link". I would rather break the arm than a more expensive part. But if you want to go with the metal one, http://www.readyheli.com/HS1295_Trex...t_p/hs1295.htm is the part you want. Good luck, Alan
