Thrust HP or???
Hi,
Does anyone know of a program for determining thrust other than Thrust HP? Hopefully one a little more accurate?? I had another program before my computer crashed, but I didn't get to use it before my computer crashed, and now I can't find it again on the net. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks and Happy Holidays, AV8TOR |
RE: Thrust HP or???
Hi...
Try to find a program called "AeroDesign Propeller Selector"... That´s what I use, and it seems to be fairly accurate. As far as I remember it was only off by a few pounds when I measured my G-62. |

RE: Thrust HP or???
Hi
That propcalc seems to be more realistic than the very optimist TrustHP!![8D] I have a small gasser MVVS1.6 turning an APC 17x10 at 7400RPM. From ThrustHP: 13.72 lbs thrust Propcalc:13.15 lbs thrust (with 10mph airspeed) MA 18x8 at 7000RPM. From ThrustHP: 14.5 lbs thrust Propcalc:12.17 lbs thrust (with 10mph airspeed) What's the relation between the airspeed and thrust? Is there someone who knows what does 'airspeed' mean in the first case? Scoubi |
